Our reception area is whithin the yoga room, so if you just drop in, you probably end up in the middle of an ongoing class. Please come either 10 min before or after a class (schedule). Our studio is not occupied when there are no classes.
There is no other way than trying it out for yourself :)
Follow this link to read about the different yoga styles we offer.
Wear comfortable gym clothes in which you can move well. Yoga is done barefoot, so please take off your shoes and put them next to the entrance in the shoes shelf as soon you enter the room.
Ideally, you should practice yoga on an empty stomach. If you’re eating a light meal prior to your yoga class, make it at least 1 to 2 hours, heavier meals roughly 3 to 4 hours beforehand. This should give your digestive system enough time to digest and you won’t feel uncomfortable during class.
Yoga mats are provided by Yoga Creation along with any props you might need during class. Although if you come regularly to yoga classes, you might be more comfortable with having your own mat. You also might like to take a handtowel with you, as most likely you will sweat during class.
Every woman has to listen to her own body. It's been recommended to avoid strenious postures the first three days in yoga, nor should any inversions (headstand, shoulderstand, etc.) be done. Traditionally in Ashtanga Yoga Mysore Style you don't practice the first 3 days of your period at all. But every body is and reacts differently, so be aware what your body tells you.
Studio Etiquette
You are welcome at Yoga Creation. Please respect the student-teacher relationship and follow any request from your teacher.
Please leave your shoes in the shelf next to the door, your bag and clothes in the dressing room and your personal valuables on the shelves provided in the rear of the Yoga room.

Please turn off your mobile phone.

Respect your limits. Acknowledge that your body and mind will feel different every day; listen to what your body tells you and practice in your own time following your own breath.
Practice with care and consideration towards yourself and others.
Please refrain from unnecessary talking.
Refrain from eating at least 2 hours prior to and 30 minutes after your practice. Drink plenty of water after your practice.

Personal hygiene is an integral part of practicing yoga. Please ensure that you and your gear are clean.

If you feel emotionally upset during or after a yoga session (joy, sadness, irritation, etc.) then accept the feelings and bid them welcome. If this feels difficult, you are welcome to speak to your teacher about it after class.
